Toothpicks, anyone?

You thought these items were reserved for cleaning your teeth or spearing a hunk of pepperoni and dunking it in spicy mustard as part of your hors d’ oeuvres spread to feed your buddies before the big game.

Well, be assured, toothpicks are no longer necessary when it comes to LeBlond.

See, you needed toothpicks to navigate LeBlond’s website before last June on your mobile phone or tablet. The menus were so compressed, you required thin stick fingers to find something when using a mobile device.

Even though it’s been up for over two months, LeBlond is happy to officially announce a mobile responsive website redesign. “Mobile responsive” is fancy talk for how well a website looks on your smart phone or tablet.

Still navigating leblondusa.com on your desktop or laptop? You still can and can enjoy a site that is graphically rich and emphasizes images over text.

Here are some highlights of the new website redesign:

• Financing: check out this page (https://leblondusa.com/financing/) that has gotten a whole lot more convenient. You want to buy a machine and see if you qualify for financing? Previously, you would have to go to the financing partner’s site, print out a PDF application, fill it out, scan the document and email to us as an attachment. What a hassle! LeBlond has partnered with ENGS Commercial Finance and the process is now all online. You can click on the link on our financing page and go to a ENGS Finance page and fill out all the details in a complete online form without printers or scanners.
• Blog: the last three posts are featured prominently in the middle of the home page. The link to the complete blog has been removed from the top right section of the home page as with the previous incarnation of the website. You can find the blog link under the Support submenu on the homepage (https://leblondusa.com/machine-parts-blog/).
• Request A Quote is featured prominently on the bottom half of the homepage as well as icons on all product pages. This section on the homepage features all the drop-down menus with machine selections featured on our previous site as well as a HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US option. Fill this out and let us know how you became aware of one of the oldest and most recognizable brands in manual machine tools!

We could write a War & Peace-sized missive on all the changes on the new site. Really, the best thing to do is to bring up the site and check out the new changes yourself. The website is a work in progress and are constantly updating it. We aim to bring more machines, particularly LeBlond heavy-duty lathes in the future as well as more LeBlond LVM Vertical Mill and K.O. Lee grinder models.
