LATHE FEATURESHEAVY DUTY SPINDLE:

The headstock spindle is machined from forged alloy steel. It is hardened, ground and dynamically balanced.  Large through hole with convenient D1-11 cam-lock mount.  Special attention was given to lubrication channels providing a constant bath of oil to the three supporting high grade precision tapered roller bearings for long life.

12 SPEED HEADSTOCK:

Wide selection of fixed speeds coupled with a powerful 15hp motor to conquer your turning needs.  The lathe comes standard with 12 speed selections providing high torque up all the way to 1200 RPM. An electronic control panel is conveniently mounted with ON-OFF power indicator light, emergency stop push button, coolant pump switch and spindle jogging push button.  Lubrication channels are designed to provide constant headstock gear and bearing lubrication.

Wide BED with one piece BASE:

One-piece machine floor base is made of solid cast iron. Wide bed design is made of Meehanite casting that is vibration stress relieved. Bed ways are induction hardened to HRC 50 and precision ground. Precision hand scraped bed is designed with a removable gap further expanding swing capabilities. The proven LeBlond 2V and wide flat solid bed structure provides rigidity that assures accuracy and maximum stability.  Standard large volume removable chip tray makes for easy chip clean out and disposal.

5C Front D1-11 Mounted Handwheel Collet Closer
Consists of a collet chuck, drawtube and handwheel that work together to clamp and hold the workpiece in place on smaller machines. The collet closer is designed to fit onto the lathe machine's D1-11 spindle nose to provide a high level of accuracy and repeatability.

5MT Super Precision Live Center
Consists of a rotating center mounted on a spindle for heavy-duty models. Fits into the tailstock to reduce deflection, reduce vibration and improve chip removal for overall accuracy during cutting.
5MT Keyless Drill Chuck & Arbor
A tool that securely holds cutting tools without the need for a key. Connects to the lathe via a 5 Morse Taper arbor, facilitating precise drilling operations.
15" 3‐Jaw SETRITE Chuck with D1‐11 Adapter Plate
Consists of three jaws that are adjusted using a chuck key and allow the chuck to be easily attached and removed from the machine. Typically used to hold cylindrical workpieces with a D1-11 adapter plate for heavy-duty machinery. Uses eight adjusting screws.
20" 4‐Jaw Independent Chuck, D1‐11 Mount
A 20" 4-Jaw Independent Chuck where each jaw is individually adjustable, allowing a square component to be perfectly centered for maximum gripping force with a D1-11 Mount.
20" Faceplate, D1‐11 Mount
A large, flat, circular device with a specific D1-11 cam-lock mounting system designed to hold and support large or irregularly shaped workpieces that can't be held securely in a chuck during cutting operations.
Steady Rest with Roller Jaws, 1.6''‐10'' (40‐255mm) Capacity
Consists of a base that is mounted onto the machine with three adjustable roller jaws that can be moved independently. Used to support and stabilize a workpiece that extends beyond the lathe chuck, preventing deflection or vibration during cutting operations.
