Precision

Spindle support provided by high-precision Class 7 (p4) angular contact ball bearings that have been accurately measured, selected and pre-loaded, then assembled in a temperature-controlled room to ensure accuracy and rigidity throughout the full RPM range.

Heavy Duty

All essential castings are made of high-grade Meehanite cast iron that has been stress-relieved to provide a rigid machine structure. The quill-feed mechanism utilizes a one-piece pinion gear and shaft that both provide strength, rigidity and less maintenance.

Quiet Operation

The low vibration infinitely variable high horsepower drive system creates the quietest head you ever used with dynamically balanced pulleys and chrome-plated motor shaft for smooth speed changes free of noise and vibration. An easy-to-read digital readout mounted to an adjustable operator station pendant is available.
